My Mom got into a horrible accident, I remember the phone call like it just happened a few minuets ago. Standing in my dads living room, wondering," where is mom, My son was getting restless,she should have been here by now."

My dad's phone rang, by the look on his face I knew something was wrong, my stomach sank deep. He hung up and said,"That was the Chaplin(I swear my heart jumped out of my body)he continued,"Your mom has been in a big accident, she was rushed to the hospital!"

We arrived, rushed to her room, I was so happy to see her alive, yet sad because of the pain she was in. Seeing my mom laying in that hospital bed, I knew i had to take care of her. Yes, she was in the hospital and at the time I did not know what to do. What i did know is that I could care for her better than any Nurse or Doctor in the building, I stood on that!

I'm sure the Nurses were tired of me because questions i did ask,Charts I needed to see. I was focused on learning, making sure my mom had the best care. I did everyday until she came home, once home the care never stopped. In those moments I was destined to care to the best of my ability.

My name is Kellicia Stuart, I am the Owner/Founder of Divine Kare,LLC. I was born July, 1988 in Wichita, Kansas. We moved to Oklahoma in 2015. So does that make me an Oklahoman now? I enjoy spending time with my family, I have three beautiful children, my fiance and a dog, The life! I also enjoy going to church, doing hair, singing and writing poetry. I'm the mom that tries to buy everything for the classroom party, The co-worker who organizes and celebrates all our accomplishments.

My favorite color is orange, last but not least I am scared to get tattoos but i love piercings, so funny right?

I have been in healthcare for 14 years, I am a Certified Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid, and a Registered Behavior Technician in the state of Oklahoma. I started off working with individuals with Intellectual disabilities in 2008-2015. I completed school in 2011 receiving my Cosmetology license. 2015-Present I advanced my focus in Long term care, Assisted living, Memory care, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Rehab, Hospice care and ABA Therapy with individuals with Autism. Yes, I hear you she has done a lot! You are correct and I am tired, but definitely motivated.

With that motivation I have been in Management/Supervisor positions, CNA trainer. Completed Courses/ Training's in Daily Living Skills, College direct courses, Compassionate Care, Basic Life Support, Diversity Awareness, ABA Therapy. I completed high school at Derby High School, Cosmetology at Paul Mitchell the school-Wichita, RBT through Relias courses, and Nursing Program at Shadow Nursing Inc.

When I sit back and reflect on my experiences, setbacks, challenges and rewards caring for others, it's overwhelming. Through experiences i have gained knowledge, I've noticed good and bad. In my heart overtime i knew there has to be more to this field then just making a pay check, finishing a shift and clocking out. I found myself praying more, wanting more, giving extra care by simply going Beyond the call of Duties.

Honestly I set myself back for years, contemplating on how i could grow the companies that i worked for, and how to make things better. I thought to myself, "Who is better to make the change your way, your focus, your expectations then YOU?" NOBODY! My only regret is not doing it sooner. Without experience I would not be here today. I had a vision turned into a dream which manifested into reality.
